The jamp2 portfolio consists of two main products:

• NETURE tools that monitor your mobile network and enable you to efficiently collect all relevant network statistics data for your planning and marketing departments. • Mobile Data Services that are visible to and used by your End-Users. These services are delivered via you, the Mobile Network Operators with which we partner as Application- or Service-Provider.

What are we doing for the End-Users – your customers?
jamp2 is working for Mobile Network Operators (MNOs). We build solutions for the MNOs that deliver Internet services, such as News, Live Sports, Search, Email or Chat to mobile phones. Different to other solutions our products work on any handset; they require no user investment and operate seamlessly with the Mobile Network Operator’s (MNO’s) existing network infrastructure. As such they are an excellent fit for MNOs to launch first class mobile services on their existing networks.

What are the services in detail?
Our Product Portfolio covers services such as:

• jamp2News, using reliable news providers and delivering up to date from National, Business and World News to Sports, Lifestyle and Celebrity Gossip,
• jamp2Sports, delivering live sports data of all major sports leagues and cup competitions worldwide; including schedules & results, live score coverage, previews and post match reviews, scoreboards, standings and more,
• jamp2Finance, latest information from the finance sector with stock quotes, exchange rates, commodity futures and precious metal prices,
• jamp2Gallery, delivering media files and wallpapers right to the users phone,
• jamp2Search, providing features such as web-, news- or local-search. Local search allows the user to check for restaurants, taxi service or travel information particular to his location. In addition we deliver services such as job search, classified search, real estate search and other information search services, such as movies, health information or Wikipedia search,
• jamp2Weather, local and world weather information at your finger tips,
• jamp2Email, a comfortable mobile access for the user to access multiple email accounts in parallel, inclusive a comfortable address book feature (click2email),
• jamp2Chat, a standards based instant messaging system providing a single account for the user to chat locally, or with his peers on other networks, such as Google Talk, Jabber, MSN, Yahoo, Facebook, QQ and more. The chat functionality is seamlessly integrated with the address book as well (click2chat),
• we also provide a powerful content discovery system allowing the user to find and manage the content that is relevant and valuable to him.

What is our Unique Selling Point?
Different to other solutions, we do not require the users to install software on their device. Our services work with any mobile and with any network.
We can even deliver the content, such as news, sports, search email or chat via SMS, and as such make the Internet accessible even on low end phones.

What is our added value for the Mobile Network Operator (MNO)?
jamp2 is making use of standard interfaces to the MNO’s mobile network. This means, the MNO does not have to extent his networks especially not with expensive radio network components.
In difference to the smartphones, which more and more flood and jam the MNO’s expensive resources we dynamically adapt the content upfront and reduce the MNO’s network traffic – even up to a factor of 10.

What is our added value for the consumers – the customers of the MNO?
Consumers do not need to buy a new mobile.
Does this mean, that the end-user with a smart iPhone will be downgraded to the comfort of a legacy phone??

• No, definitely not! Such high-end-terminal users will enjoy our jamp2-Mobile-Data-Services (jamp2-MDS) with the full comfort they are used to.
• However, we make sure that our brothers and sisters with a legacy phone are not forgotten in this new world of communications and electronic media. We want to heartily welcome them, independent on their mobile phone type, to join us. Our jamp2-service platform is made also for them to participate on our worldwide email exchange, chatting with our international communities, keep informed by latest News, enjoy Sports, and so on.

How can a legacy mobile present the same content in the same way as an iPhone?
This is indeed not possible as such, however:
Jamp2′s user interface reflects some of the look & feel of an iPhone (square icons for the different services, zoom in, click-to-dial, and so on). Depending on the phone capabilities some functions may not be available. We dynamically adapt our user interface, for example images will always be adapted to the phone’s display size. Jamp2′s adaptation capability goes even down to phones that only support SMS – of course, here we only serve text.

What is meant by personal communications services?
jamp2′s personal communications services include services like jamp2Emaill, i.e. email can be received and read, created and sent, or forwarded with the mobile – sorry, with “any” mobile. Another example of a communications service is jamp2Chat and the address book – also with any mobile.

What is meant by content services?
jamp2 provides various content services like jamp2News, jamp2Sports or jamp2Gallery with content provided by first-of-class content providers from all parts of the world.
And then there is search – even local search that allows you to look up restaurants, taxi services and more.

Your Demo Website is in English, can I get the service in language xyz?
Jamp2 already supports multiple languages, such as English, French, German and Hindi, and can easily be adapted to more languages, such as Arabic, Chinese and more. We have a standard MNO branding process in place that addresses issues such as language, MNO branding and sourcing of content that is relevant to the MNO’s customers.

Do you just offer WAP and SMS services?
No, the described WAP and SMS services are just one aspect. We also offer alerting services, such as a targeted daily newspaper by MMS, live score updates via SMS during the match of your favourite team or a type of email push by SMS.
